Back in the Studio again!
Hello All,
After a long lockdown, I am happy to announce that in-person classes will begin again in July. There will be 2 new in-person class offerings next month and I am really looking forward to working with you in the studio again. I've created a reopening plan that will help us start again safely and comfortably, and hope that you will be able to join us next month.
Reopening plan
In order for us to provide a safe and relaxed classroom environment, all individuals attending in-person will be required to show proof of completed Covid-19 vaccination by presenting your CDC vaccine card or by using the Excelsior Pass. This will be a requirement for all in-person classes until public health guidance changes. After reading student suggestions and the guidance provided by New York State and the CDC, I believe this is the best way for us to begin to move forward. Online classes will still be available for all students.
In-Person classes will be limited to a maximum of 6 actors. We will be doing what we can to make the studio a safe and comfortable environment for you to work in, and I would encourage you to do whatever makes you feel safest while in class. Following the latest CDC guidance, mask wearing will be optional but welcomed for all vaccinated persons. We will be able to provide moderate social distancing in the studio, all surfaces and high touch items will be cleaned and sanitized before each class, windows can remain open, and sanitizer will be available at all times.
In the case of illness or exposure to covid-19, classes may be temporarily moved online until they can resume safely at the discretion of the instructor.
Class Rates
In person classes will be $300/mo; the online class rates will be $260/mo*. Class rates are discounted if you take more than one class, and now that we have online classes in addition to studio classes, you will be able to take a mix of classes that are right for you. Rates for multiple classes are as follows:
1 In studio class + 1 online class: $475/mo
2 in studio classes: $500/mo
2 online classes : $450/mo
