Scene Study

In the classroom, the focus is placed on teaching you how to become as authentic and genuine as possible in your work, and how to translate that work to performances in various mediums.

Actors will work on scenes from contemporary plays with a scene partner. It is imperative that you are able to commit to attending class for yourselves and your scene partners.

This class is ideal for intermediate to advanced actors who have completed basic acting training elsewhere. Class placement is based on experience and training.

On-Camera Audition

with Lindsay Van Norman

This class will teach you how to use the script to guide your choices but not control them, improving your self-tape auditions and your work on camera. Using current film and television scripts, you will learn to make character choices that work for you, and how to become a more skilled and efficient actor. We will record and review your work each week in class.

This class is ideal for intermediate to advanced actors who have completed basic acting training elsewhere.

On-Camera Scene Study

This class is for actors who want to improve their character work on camera in an 'on-set’ environment. This class will challenge you to maintain your character work on camera while matching action, hitting your marks, and adapting to direction on set. Throughout this class we will film your scenes with a partner from multiple angles to better prepare you for your work on set and to analyze your work in a way that will not only help you become a better actor, but a better professional.

This is an intermediate/advanced class, ideal for actors actively working and auditioning in film and TV. Class placement is based on experience and training. Limited to 8 students.

Intro to On-Camera Acting

with Lindsay Van Norman

This class is ideal for those who are at the early stages of their career and learning the fundamentals of on-camera acting or transitioning from Theater into Film and TV.

In this class, we will use current television and film scripts to improve your auditions, learn how to create the best self-tapes, and improve your character work and choices on-camera. You will learn how to navigate the industry while improving your skills and identify the next steps for you in your career. We will record and review your work each week in class.
